Turkey Hair Transplant Review for Korean

Turkey hair transplant as a korean

1-Month Post-Op Update

1. The scabs are completely gone now, and I think the shedding phase has officially started. My scalp is still a bit sensitive, but it’s definitely getting better.

It’s probably hard to tell just by looking at the photos, but the empty-looking area in the center and the filled-in M-shape line are the parts where I had the transplant done.

I completely avoided alcohol and smoking. I really wanted to have some, and honestly my hair looks okay so far, but I still can’t be sure. Plus, I feel my body getting better day by day, so I just don’t want to risk it yet. The little white flakes you might see are dead skin. I have quite a lot of it, so I feel a bit self-conscious going out. I just leave the stuck ones alone and gently brush off the ones that are barely hanging on before heading out.

2. Since it was my first time getting a transplant, I didn’t really know what to expect even though I tried to prepare. But the staff who were helping me took great care of everything, so the whole process felt comfortable. They chatted a bit during the procedure, but it didn’t feel like they were distracted or doing their work carelessly, so it didn’t bother me.

They told me I might have some oozing afterward, but I didn’t have any at all. I’m 35, by the way. Seeing that there was absolutely no oozing made me think, “Hmm… maybe they’re really skilled?” but who knows—time will tell.

3. The actual procedure was much more painful and exhausting than I expected. The anesthesia injections hurt a lot, and after the anesthesia kicked in, they did some kind of skin stretching—or something like that—and I was surprised because I could still feel pain. I kept raising my hand like, “Why can I still feel this?” But once that part was over, there was no pain at all.

Afterwards I felt tired, sore, and just overall uncomfortable, so I really didn’t feel like going anywhere. I recommend preparing some food and leaving it in your accommodation beforehand. I finally felt normal enough to go out the next evening, so I grabbed some kebab to-go and bought a bunch of water and snacks from the market. I think you really need a full 24 hours of rest before you can move around comfortably.

The flight back home wasn’t as bad as I expected, but around the 2-day mark, your scalp starts to itch. That itching was honestly the hardest part.

4. So far, I’m glad I decided to do it. The procedure, the itching, the scabs—everything was a bit tough, but I really hope the results turn out great in the next few months.
